Home physiotherapy brings specialist care to people who are unable to travel to our clinic, giving the patient a health professional’s full attention in the security and privacy of their own home, with less strain on carers.
Who home visits suit
- People recovering from a stroke
- Older adults after a fall, or with weakness after a hospital stay (more here)
- The first weeks after a hip or knee replacement or other major surgery
- Patients who are housebound or bed-bound
- Anyone whose pain makes travelling too difficult for now
Why treatment at home works well
We can practise the things that matter in the place they happen: your own stairs, your bed, your bathroom, your front step. We can also spot trip hazards, check walking aids and show family members how to help.
