How to book using insurance
- Call your insurerTell them you want physiotherapy and ask for an authorisation or claim number.
- Check the referral ruleAsk whether they need a GP or specialist referral before they pay.
- Book with usChoose “private health insurance” when you book online and add your authorisation number.
- We invoice themWe bill your insurer for the authorised sessions. You pay any excess or shortfall.
Paying yourself and claiming back
If you prefer, or your policy is a cash plan, you can pay at each appointment and we will give you a receipt to send to your insurer.
Insurer fees and referral requirements can change. Neither the clinic nor any individual therapist can be held responsible if a claim is not paid, so please confirm your cover before treatment starts.

Common questions
Do I need a GP referral to use my insurance?
It depends on your insurer and policy. Some ask for a GP or specialist referral and others let you refer yourself. Your insurer will tell you when you call for authorisation.
What is an authorisation number?
It is the reference your insurer gives you to confirm they will pay for a set number of sessions. Give it to us when you book so we can invoice them.
What if my insurer does not pay?
You remain responsible for the cost of treatment. That is why we ask you to confirm cover before your first appointment.
Can I use a health cash plan such as Simplyhealth?
Yes. With a cash plan you usually pay us at the appointment and claim the money back using our receipt.
