Many patients, for personal, cultural or religious reasons, prefer to be treated by a woman. We understand that comfort is part of good care, so we offer female physiotherapists on request for both clinic appointments and home visits.
How we keep you comfortable
- A female physiotherapist on request
- Everything explained before we start, and nothing done without your agreement
- Undressing kept to the minimum needed; loose clothing or shorts usually avoid it
- A chaperone welcome at any appointment
- A private treatment room
What we can treat
Everything our clinic offers, including back, neck and joint pain, sports injuries, rehab after surgery and home visits.

Common questions
How do I ask for a female physiotherapist?
Tick “I would prefer a female physiotherapist” on the online booking form, or tell us when you call.
Will I need to undress?
Only as much as is needed to examine the area, and we always explain why first. Wearing loose clothing or shorts usually means you do not need to undress at all.
Can I bring a family member?
Yes. A chaperone is welcome at any appointment.
